Description

G. A. Paulus was trained in the art of bow making by his father Johannes Paulus. A multigenerational family of bowmakers, the Paulus family has been making bows in Germany since the early 1920s. G.A. Paulus founded his own shop in 1973 and worked as a bow maker until his passing in 2006.

This excellent example of G.A. Paulus' work produces a warm and rich sound. A very stable octagonal stick gives the player confidence when approaching their instrument. Finished with ebony and silver fittings, this bow is suitable for the collegiate musician and professional.
